Beaverton’s Super Kids: Meet Super Kid Dabin So

Highlighting Local Kids Who Excel at School

Dabin So is a very bright and a joyful kid who has a very big open heart. He is a second grader at Sexton Mountain.

When Dabin began school he was diagnosed with a communication disorder. He had fallen behind in his academic development by 2-3 years. Dabin’s parents enrolled him in Kumon to help catch him up to grade level. By his second year at Kumon, Dabin has made significant achievements and progress of catching up and is getting closer to reaching the average grade level in reading and math.

Not only did his academics improve but his communication has improved dramatically as well, leading him to be better at social networking. To recognize his improvement, Dabin has been awarded with the Perseverance Award at his school.
