New Business Spotlight: Maple Seed Wellness
By BRG Staff
Maple Seed Wellness is a holistic healthcare clinic newly opened in downtown Beaverton. We are so excited to offer acupuncture, herbal medicine, and shiatsu massage to everyone, whether you are looking for relief from serious conditions or would rather focus on relaxation and preventative medicine.
Victoria Branson, L.Ac. is the founder of Maple Seed Wellness and specializes in pain relief, women’s health, digestion, insomnia, and stress-relief techniques. She believes that most health conditions if not outright caused by stress are certainly exacerbated by it, as such she loves to teach her patients stress-management through meditation, taiji, qigong, visualization, and breathing exercises. Patients achieve better overall health and wellbeing when they are given tools to empower themselves in their own healing journey.
Acupuncture and Oriental medicine are effective for myriad diseases as they have been in existence for over 3000 years and as the sole form of medicine for billions of people, from China to Vietnam, Korea, and Japan. This includes diseases of the circulatory, neurological, genito-urinary, endocrine, respiratory, digestive, and dermatological systems. This medicine is safe, time-tested, and powerful.
At Maple Seed we love to work cooperatively with your other health care practitioners to provide you with the best possible patient-centered care. We don’t accept insurance which allows us to offer sliding scale fees and more flexibility in what we are able to give our patients, such as herbal consultations and private or community-style treatments.
We are offering a promotion of 50% off your first acupuncture treatment now through February 1st, as well as a 10% discount for all other treatments to military and law enforcement personnel.
Victoria is giving a free presentation on acupuncture at the Natural Grocers in downtown Beaverton on Saturday, January 16th at 4pm.
