25 Years of Community Partnerships with Dirkse Counseling and Consulting

Dirkse Counseling & Consulting (DCC) is approaching its 25th anniversary year in January 2022, and we are already looking forward to looking back at some of the many relationships that have contributed to our success.

The month of November gives us the opportunity to celebrate the dedicated men and women, past and present, who have served with our nation’s armed forces. We take this opportunity to wish Happy Veterans Day to all of those in our community who have served or are currently serving, including DCC’s own:

Prior to joining DCC as an Employment Specialist and Counselor, Mr. Chris Perry, spent eight years in the United States Navy, traveling to 13 countries in three years.

Founder and President Heidi Dirkse-Graw’s son is a former Marine who served two tours during Operation Desert Storm, one of which was as an Embassy Guard.

Dirkse-Graw’s stepson is currently also serving in the USMC, and finding fulfillment in his work as an Air Crew Chief.

DCC has partnered with various service-related organizations throughout the years to provide counseling, career exploration, vocational evaluation, and job placement services for Veterans. DCC humbly embraces the opportunity to partner with our veterans and encourages all Beaverton based employers to highly consider hiring qualified veterans when filling open positions.
