Adopt a Puppy: Hercules

Age is just a number for Hercules, an 11-year-old Frenchie with the heart, energy and affection of a much younger pup. While he may be entering his golden years, this lovable senior still enjoys playtime, adores his toys and is always ready for his next adventure.

Hercules is also a champion snuggler. His favorite place is curled up in his person’s lap, soaking up all the love and attention you’ll give him. Sweet, gentle and respectful, he has proven to be an ideal housemate. In his foster home, he gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats and even a turtle. He’s also fantastic with children, making him a great fit for many different types of families.

When Hercules first arrived at the county shelter, he was severely underweight and in need of care. Thanks to the dedication of his foster mom, he has regained his health and is looking and feeling like himself again. Now, all he needs is a forever family to share his life with.

Unfortunately, the foster mom who helped Hercules make this remarkable recovery is now facing health challenges of her own and can’t care for him much longer. Finding Hercules a permanent home has become especially urgent.
