Poppy’s been through a lot, and her biggest challenge is separation anxiety. She becomes stressed and cries when left alone for long periods but stops immediately when she is safely close to her humans again. For that reason, she would thrive in a home with someone who works from home, has a flexible schedule, or enjoys bringing a canine companion along for daily adventures. In return, Poppy offers endless affection, loyalty, and companionship with no complaint.

An active home would be ideal for this energetic pup. Poppy absolutely loves to play, and would be happiest with another friendly, active dog to romp around with. Whether it’s chasing toys in the backyard or running after her favorite tennis ball, she’s always ready for fun. Fetch is one of her favorite games, and she could happily spend hours chasing a ball and bringing it back for another throw.
