March is a time when important conversations take shape. Our annual State of the City brings neighbors together to reflect on where we’ve been and where we’re headed. Budget discussions begin to move forward. Community priorities are refined. And as election season approaches, ballots and public dialogue start shaping the future of our city and our region.
This is when engagement matters most. Local government works best when people participate. That can look like:
- Voting in local elections
- Reading up on issues that impact your neighborhood
- Attending a meeting, in person or online
- Serving on a board or commission
- Reaching out when you have questions or ideas
- You do not have to do everything. But doing something makes a difference.
