BACC Kicks Off Gala Season and Award Nominations
Welcome 2026 with Purpose and Celebration
As the calendar flips to 2026, many are embracing a fresh start—recommitting to what matters most and looking ahead with optimism. Whether it’s refocusing on business goals, academic ambitions, or family priorities, this new year offers a chance to begin again.
At the Beaverton Area Chamber of Commerce, that spirit of renewal comes with an exciting announcement: nominations are now open for the 2026 BACC Annual Gala awards—a celebration of the people, businesses, and organizations that make Beaverton thrive.
Nominations open on January 13 at beaverton.org and include categories such as:
- Beaverton’s Living Legend 2026
- BACC Chamber Member of the Year
- BACC Corporate Partner of the Year
- Beaverton Community Member of the Year
- BACC Small Business Partner of the Year
- BACC Non-Profit Partner of the Year
- Public Safety Excellence Award
- Dedication to Youth Excellence Award
- Distinguished Voluntary Service Award
- Youth Achievement Award
- Distinguished Military Contribution Award
“These awards shine a light on the people and organizations who make a real difference in our community,” said Georgie Funk. “We invite everyone to take a moment and nominate someone who inspires you.”
The Gala will be held Friday, May 15, 2026 from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m.—mark your calendar now. In addition to honoring community leaders, the evening will include scholarship presentations to local students, highlighting Beaverton’s commitment to the future.
Community members often describe the Gala as “an event not to be missed”—a chance to celebrate achievements, connect with neighbors, and support the heart of Beaverton.
The evening will feature awards, a silent auction, a wine pull, and dancing to the high-energy sounds of PRECIOUS BYRD. So grab your friends and reserve a table today!
