CoLiving & CoWorking, Opportunities abound at The Center at Ananda Laurelwood
I always wanted to be surrounded by friends, by those who shared the same values, who cared about helping create a more harmonious world. I appreciated those around me, but it wasn’t enough.
Cooperative living is only now beginning to be understood as a solution to the underlying yearning that we all have for meaningful connection. People are beginning to realize that we can choose those with whom we live and serve. CoLiving/CoWorking is a global movement that is gaining traction in the Portland area, and is addressing this yearning.
As it becomes increasingly possible to work through our computers, we can become more independent in our selection of where we live and serve. There is an entire segment of the global population that seeks connection and meaning and travels to locations where common values are held, staying for days, weeks, months, or years.
The Center at Ananda Laurelwood has been serving the vision of meaningful community for years, and we offer opportunities to experience CoLiving/CoWorking for those who wish to explore a deeper connection to life.
Days filled with friendship and laughter, with cooperation and creativity, with a connection with nature, with meaningful service – times of play and times of reflection – all are part of a fulfilling life. It is more possible now than ever to choose the kind of life we live and the connections we surround ourselves with.
If these ideas inspire you to action, we would love hear from you.
