Come hear how the City is doing

Come hear how the City is doing

#MessageFromTheMayor

State of the City is coming up on Monday, March 13, at 6 p.m. at the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts! Free tickets will soon be available on a first-come, first-served basis. I cannot wait for the community to come together for our first in-person State of the City at the Reser! We’ll share what we’ve been up to and where we’re headed.

In the meantime, here’s what your City Council is up to in February. After meeting for our third Governance Training Session on January 30, we will hold our annual Council Retreat on February 11-12. The training sessions had three goals:

  1. Develop clear meeting protocol policies that clarify roles and responsibilities for the council and city manager;
  2. Support new councilor onboarding; and
  3. Improve processes to support the council decision-making process.

And now that we’ve completed those, we are ready to have our goal- and priority-setting retreat! I encourage you to tune in online (beavertonoregon.gov) so you can watch in real-time.
