Daniel Celebrates 10th Work Anniversary

Dirkse Counseling and Consulting job coaches are excited to celebrate Daniel’s 10th work anniversary at Pizzicato and have enjoyed working with him over the years! Daniel is a positive, fun guy to work with. He brings a great attitude to work every shift which has equated to hard work and determination. He started his employment as a pizza box folder and has since expanded his responsibilities, which make him an even more important part of his team.

With support from job coaches, Daniel has become a very fast box folder which helps the restaurant prepare for the days when he is not there. He has learned additional tasks such as restocking sodas, cleaning the windows, recycling, sweeping and keeping the lobby tidy.

His managers and coworkers are happy with his reliability and hard work. Not only can they count on him to complete his assigned tasks, they can depend on him to assist with preparing boxes when large catering orders come in.

His family also recognizes what a great fit this has been for him. Daniel is clearly a valued staff member and having a shift prior to opening has worked very well with his learning style and skill building. He has also learned how to be flexible if there are changes in the routine or where items are stocked. One of the best perks, however, is receiving a slice of his favorite pepperoni pizza at the end of each shift! Daniel values his job and being employed as do his parents.
