Elder Safety and Wellness Fair: Age with confidence

Beaverton Police Department to Host Elder Safety and Wellness Fair on June 7

Beaverton residents are invited to connect, learn, and build community at the upcoming Elder Safety and Wellness Fair, hosted by the Beaverton Police Department in partnership with AARP. The event will take place on Sunday, June 7, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Beaverton Police Department.

Designed as an open house and resource fair, the gathering aims to strengthen ties between older adult community members and the local organizations that support them. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with a variety of resource providers offering services tailored to wellness, safety, and aging with confidence.

In addition, Beaverton Police Department officers will be on-site to meet residents, answer questions, and offer insights into the support they provide when community members need assistance.

Event organizers emphasize that building these personal connections is key to fostering a safer, more informed, and more supported community. They also note that participation from local partners adds tremendous value to the fair and helps reinforce these important relationships.
