Fall into Autumn at deccarli restaurant! Italian inspired cuisine, where rustic meets modern

We began in 2007 when owners Paul and Jana DeCarli found a perfect opportunity to blend rustic cooking with fine dining in the heart of downtown Beaverton. Throughout the years, we opened our doors and welcomed guests into our space, surrounding them with good food, drinks, and our memorable brick-laden interior.

In the summer of 2022, we moved from our original home on Watson Avenue to a new location on Hall Boulevard, across from the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts and The Round. While we had to leave a space filled with great memories and a rich history rooted in downtown Beaverton, we soon found comfort in our new–and larger–location. The restaurant not only offers more space to seat guests, but it also has its own parking lot, eliminating the need to circle the crowded downtown streets in search of a suitable parking spot. Combined with the Reser Center just across the street, the restaurant has found itself as an ideal spot to enjoy a meal before attending one of The Reser’s many great programs. Our happy hour (available from 4:30-6:00 PM) offers the perfect window to grab a quick bite and leaves more than enough time to make a comfortable arrival at an evening show.

Last winter, we had the lovely opportunity to add a wall along the northern side of the dining room, which has allowed us to more easily accommodate larger parties–similar to our private dining room at our previous location–further improving the atmosphere of the restaurant. Since the addition, we’ve been able to host a wide variety of private events this past summer, ranging from wine dinners to graduation events. But, even though our space has changed, our commitment to providing excellent food, drinks, and service remains the same. Our menu offers a variety of seasonally inspired dishes that highlight local ingredients and, at the same time, reflect the northern Italian heritage of the restaurant. In turn, our wine list has been tailored to feature both local and Italian wines that pair well with the flavor profiles of our menu.

This fall, combine hearty dishes such as our espresso-braised short ribs with a dark, rich red wine, or a house-made pasta with one of our many wonderful Willamette Valley pinot noirs. Contrarily, pair one of our high-acid white wines with lighter dishes such as our burrata, bruschetta trio, or various salads to create a complementary pairing that highlights the brightness and freshness of each. And, for the cocktail–and mocktail–enthusiast, we offer a lovely assortment of mixed drinks that are sure to refresh you throughout your meal.
