Fresh flavors, live music & family fun each week at the Summer Market

June brings full summer energy to the Beaverton Farmers Market, with fresh flavors, live music, and family fun each week. Warmer weather and longer days make it the perfect time to stroll the aisles, connect with local farmers and makers, and enjoy a vibrant community gathering. Whether you’re shopping for dinner ingredients at the farm stalls, meeting friends for coffee at Koko Mobile Cafe, or bringing the kids for a morning outing, June at the Market has something for everyone!
New seasonal produce arrives throughout the month, including early berries, cherries, crisp greens, fresh herbs, and tender summer vegetables. Strawberry shortcake is a perfect treat for a warm June afternoon — pick up strawberries from beloved vendor Unger Century Berry Farm and a loaf of shortbread from Decadent Creations for an easy seasonal dessert. Local growers are excited to share the first harvests of the season, making this one of the freshest and most colorful times of year at the Market.
Families can enjoy plenty of kid-friendly activities while they shop. Stop by the BFM Info Booth to do the weekly Market Sprouts kids activity, and get a clue to hunt for Ruthie, BFM’s mascot, who hides in a new place around the Market each week. The play structure offers a fun spot to climb and explore, while the nearby fountains are a favorite place to cool off on warm days. Don’t forget towels or a change of clothes if your little ones love to splash!
Lunch is easy, too. Share a wood-fired pizza from FG Amore, grab refreshing cold noodles from GD Catering, or enjoy a fresh acai bowl from Liquid Sunshine Beverage Company while soaking in the summer atmosphere.
Live music adds to the festive spirit that makes the Beaverton Farmers Market such a special community destination. Local musicians provide the perfect soundtrack for shopping, relaxing, and gathering with friends and family. Grab a snack, find a shady seat, and enjoy the sounds of summer.

As a reminder, BFM’s pet policy helps keep the Market safe and comfortable for everyone. Pets are welcome, but paws must stay off the ground at all times. Carriers, strollers, backpacks, and wagons are all great options for bringing furry companions along for the fun.
Market hours are 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. every Saturday. We can’t wait to see you at Beaverton Farmers Market this June!
