Most young chess players want to beat Dad or be the best in their school. All it takes is a few private chess lessons and for new students, I’m offering a holiday special of two one-hour lessons for only $50.
Chess teaches players many life lessons. How to win, how to lose, how to make decisions, how to solve problems and not give up. These are just a few of the benefits of learning to play chess well. Chess is a game that can be played for a lifetime and passed on their children and grandchildren. From 8 to 80, you are never too young nor too old to learn, improve and play chess.
Many players want to play in tournaments and win trophies and cash prizes. But even for non-tournament players, it’s more satisfying to play when your skills are sharp. For over 40 years, I have been teaching chess to boys and girls. Some have become chess masters and play on college teams, winning both scholastic and adult tournaments.
