Hello Loyal Beaverton readers. Over the course of the last several months, I have fielded calls from several clients who were not so satisfied with the service they received from dealerships here in Beaverton.

On numerous occasions over the past year, friends, clients and neighbors have asked me to review the work orders or estimates they received from the various dealerships in the area. Not surprisingly, on 8 out of 10 cases, the dealership service department seemed to be recommending work that I felt was not all that necessary at best. In the worst cases, it appeared that the work being recommended was not applicable to the vehicle or flat out not needed (shocking right?).

Introduce Metro Car Care and Tire Pros. This excellent independent shop is the place I take all of my personal cars to, as well as my inventory as a licensed Oregon vehicle dealer. I even trust them to the point where refer all of my clients to this shop without question or reservations. Their pricing is fair and they even have a reasonable tow service in the event you need this service. They even have loaner cars for big jobs that could take a while. Who does that these days?!

I must say, the quality of any business comes down to who is in charge and the owner here is a wonderful fellow named Kirk Caudill. Kirk and his front counterman, Phil, go above and beyond the call of duty.

• If you want honest, thorough, and professional maintenance, this is the repair facility to visit.
• If your vehicle needs tires and/or alignment, this is also the place to go.
• If your vehicle needs any kind of repair large or small, there is no doubt in my mind where you should take your precious vehicle.

Now, although this shop is not considered local (10040 Capital Hwy), it’s also not that far away either. I live in South Beaverton near Hall Blvd and it takes me less than 15 minutes to get there depending on traffic.
