Introducing Tia, a very super student! Thanks to Kumon of South Beaverton

Tia is 7 years old and a 1st grader at the Tucker Maxon School.

She has attended Kumon for one year now and has made exceptionable progress throughout her time in the program. Already working a whole year above her grade level in reading and writing, Tia is currently focusing on different expressions of language and independently constructing sentences.

One of the most difficult aspects in early education is self-confidence and the courage to move forward when tackling new concepts. Tia’s independent work ethic has grown immensely during her time here and we have been so proud to watch her take charge of herself in this new way and feel confident in the work she produces!

Outside of Kumon, Tia enjoys active hobbies like gymnastics and playing various sports such as badminton. She also loves to paint!

Tia’s parents say that Kumon has helped her immensely in growing her reading skills, and she now enjoys it very much. As bookworms ourselves, we can’t wait to see where this newfound passion takes her!
