Jefferson has completed the Kumon Program

I started Kumon at a young age, and looking back, now that I’ve completed the program, I can see how much it has shaped me both as a student and as a person. In the beginning, I didn’t always understand why I had to do the daily worksheets, but over time I realized they were helping me build strong habits and skills that would stay with me for years.

In math, Kumon gave me a strong foundation by helping me master calculations step by step. Because I started so early, these skills carried into school, making classroom lessons easier to understand and giving me confidence to participate. In reading, Kumon improved my comprehension and focus, which not only helped in English but also in other subjects where careful reading and understanding were important.

Beyond academics, Kumon taught me discipline, patience, and responsibility. Doing work every day, even when it was challenging, helped me learn how to stay committed and manage my time. Because I started young, these lessons became part of the way I approach learning in school and in life.

Now that I’ve completed the program, I feel proud of how far I’ve come. Starting Kumon at a young age and staying with it through the years has taught me perseverance and independence. The experience was not always easy, but it has prepared me to face challenges with confidence and determination in the future.
