The importance of strong partnerships
At the Beaverton Area Chamber of Commerce, building strong partnerships is at the heart of everything we do. As a member-driven organization, we deeply value the support and engagement of our Chamber partners, as they are integral to our mission. During 2024, we added more than 150 new members to our team! This growth is powered by the active involvement of our members, whose advocacy and collaboration continues to strengthen our efforts.
Our team, along with our partners, is dedicated to a broader vision: enhancing the Beaverton community in meaningful ways. We collaborate on numerous initiatives that help build connections, foster growth, and serve our shared goals. Some of our key programs include:
Leadership Beaverton: Running annually from Fall to Spring, this program brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds to explore the City and engage with the community. Participants not only broaden their networks but also contribute by selecting and executing a community service project each year.
Hybrid Learning Space Transformation: We’re excited to introduce our conference room as a new multi-language hybrid learning environment. Thanks to funding from Washington County and biamp, this initiative will expand our educational offerings, promoting even more inclusive opportunities for learning and collaboration.
IMPACT Beaverton: A long-standing partnership between the City of Beaverton’s Economic Development department and the Chamber, this program provides free business support and technical assistance to small businesses across the city.
Nonprofit Incubator: In collaboration with the Oregon Startup Center and the City of Beaverton, we’ve launched this exciting new initiative to support the growth of nonprofit organizations. By providing resources and guidance, we’re helping cultivate new partnerships that will ultimately strengthen our community.
