Meet Boo & Princess, small bird & big bird

This month, EBR is featuring two beautiful birds of very different sizes that have been through a lot and are waiting for their loving Forever Homes.

Boo is an 8 year old female cockatiel who was originally rescued from a bad situation, so her new family will need to be patient and work with her as her personality develops and she learns how to trust humans again. Cockatiels are incredibly sweet birds with big personalities. Despite their size, They are very intelligent, loving and playful, and can bring a bright ray of sunshine into their families’ lives. Will you be the one to show Boo a Forever Home filled with unconditional love and proper care? Helping a rescue animal learn to trust again can be an incredibly fulfilling experience, for both human and parrot.

Also featured is Princess, a sweet and stunning female green wing macaw. Princess is a warrior bird; she recently underwent a successful surgery to remove an old egg (big thanks to the generosity of our incredible community who helped raise money for the surgery). Despite having a history of abuse, she is step up trained and loves cuddles and scratches when she gets to know her humans more. She does well around other animals, loves sisal rope toys, and is surprisingly quiet for a macaw. She will lovingly coo for you when you give her head pets. Princess deserves to spend the rest of her life in a safe and loving Forever Home, where she will eagerly return the love and companionship.
