State of the City, March 17 The city is excited to invite community members to the annual State of the City event. The in-person evening program at the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts is open to the community with free tickets available in advance on a first come, first served basis. Hey, Water Customers! Advanced Metering Infrastructure Heading Your Way.

The city is investing in Advanced Metering Infrastructure — also known as AMI — a technology that collects water use remotely in near real-time.

These meters provide more accurate consumption readings and can help customers catch leaks and other malfunctions keeping water bills accurate and avoiding charges for excessive use.

AMI installations are underway and expected to be completed citywide by 2027. Customers will be notified before their new meter is installed.
