Police Multimedia and Community Engagement Coordinator

#BeavertonPolice
The Police Multimedia and Community Engagement Coordinator position will be the first of its kind for the department.
“We recognize the power of social media platforms and videography in telling our police department’s story,” said Chief Stacy Jepson. “By actively engaging in these mediums, we can bridge the gap between our officers and the community we serve. It allows us to share real-time updates, showcase the important work our men and women are doing, and foster transparency and trust with our residents. Through the power of visual storytelling, we aim to humanize our officers, highlight their dedication and professionalism, and create a more informed and connected community.”
The Multimedia and Community Engagement Coordinator will work directly with the Chief of Police and the Public Information Officer to advance the department’s strategic initiatives for community engagement. By following BPD’s pages on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and NextDoor, you will stay connected, informed, and play an active role in engaging with us to create a safer community together.
