Quaking Aspen (Trembling Aspen)
The Quaking Aspen is a striking native tree known for the way its round, green topped, pale bottomed leaves shimmer even in the slightest breeze. Growing up to 60 feet tall, it thrives in moist soils and full sun, preferring cooler climates. In autumn, its foliage turns a vivid yellow gold, creating the iconic glowing groves often seen across the Rocky Mountains.
