
Sergeant Brian Gaunt: Beaverton Police Mourn the Loss of one of its own

On Sunday, October 24, 2021, Sergeant Brian Gaunt of the Beaverton Police Department passed away unexpectedly from COVID related complications. Sergeant Gaunt was a 21-year-veteran of the Beaverton Police Department where he worked as patrol officer, detective and K9 handler. Sergeant Gaunt was promoted to sergeant in 2019 and was assigned to the Community Services Division at the time of his passing. Prior to being a police officer, Sergeant Gaunt served in the U.S Coast Guard. Sergeant Gaunt is survived by his wife and three children.
