Summer in Beaverton is officially under way

#DowntownBeaverton

We were so happy that both Boba Dash and the Old Town Wine & Food Walk were sold out this year!

Boba Dash, where participants sampled boba tea at 12 stops each featuring a different local Boba shop, sold out days before the event and this year featured pop ups by local artisans. The Old Town Wine & Food Walk included 10 samples from local wineries as well as bites from local downtown restaurants set across 10 different businesses throughout the Old Town district.

Upcoming Summer Events

Our next event is the First Friday art walk on July 7th which is expanding from Central Beaverton into downtown and is likely to be a popular event. The event will feature art from local artists, live music, and more.

The Pick Up for A Pint event (sponsored by SOLVE) will take place on July 16th from 10am – 1pm at Binary Brewing (12345 SW Broadway St). Participants that pick up a bag of trash can return it for a free pint.

Please also save the date for the Beaverton Lager festival coming August 26th from 2 – 6pm. More details will be available at our website soon.

In addition, we’re thrilled to announce the opening of several new businesses in the district including John’s Marketplace, Magna Kubo, Super Champ, Viva La Cactus, and Pips Donuts (opening July 1).

All of these events and new businesses are a great way to enjoy the summer in Beaverton, so get out there and have some fun!
