Summer Market: Fresh flavors, live music & family fun each week

Summer is in full swing at the Beaverton Farmers Market, and June and July bring some of the most colorful and delicious harvests of the year. Stroll through the Market and taste fresh strawberries from Unger Century Berry Farm, cherries from Pro Farm Orchards, and early tomatoes, all grown by local farmers. This month, we are welcoming Baird Family Orchards and their sweet peaches back, just in time for a refreshing Peach Bellini drink! Whether you’re shopping for the week’s meals or simply enjoying the sights and aromas of the season, you’ll find plenty of farm-fresh inspiration at every turn.
The Market is also a wonderful place to enjoy live local music while you shop. Talented musicians provide a lively soundtrack throughout the day, creating a welcoming atmosphere for visitors of all ages. Grab a coffee, find a shady spot, and enjoy the sounds of summer as you explore everything the market has to offer. Before you know it, a simple toe tap to a familiar tune may become a carefree swirl to the music.
Our regulars find plenty of reasons to make the Market a weekend destination. Children love the nearby play structure, where they can burn off energy before or after visiting with the vendors. Our special Market Sprouts Kids Club activities throughout the season offer hands-on learning, creativity, and fun, making every visit a new adventure.
One of the Market’s greatest advantages is its location in the heart of downtown Beaverton. The Market is just steps away from the library, making it easy to combine a morning of shopping with story time, browsing books, or participating in library programs. It’s the perfect way to create a full family outing close to home.
As temperatures rise, don’t forget to bring a towel and a change of clothes for the kids. The Beaverton City Fountain is just a few steps away and offers a refreshing place to splash, cool off, and enjoy the sunshine. It’s a favorite summertime tradition for many local families and a great way to extend your market visit.
Come hungry, because the Beaverton Farmers Market offers an incredible variety of lunch options, snacks, and refreshing beverages. Grab fresh pastries at Twisted Croissant or a heftier breakfast sandwich from Whole Lotta Loaf, find treats and international flavors like Chinese cuisine at Dongbei Dimple Dumplings, or Mexican “antojitos” (little cravings) at Maruka Loka, locally crafted drinks like BNF Kombucha and Jun, or a cup of refreshing lemonade from Liquid Sunshine, and seasonal specialties; there’s something for every appetite. We look forward to welcoming you to the Market this summer, where fresh food, community connections, family fun, and the best of Beaverton come together every week.
Peach Bellini: Ingredients
- 2 ripe white peaches, peeled and diced
- ¼ cup fresh raspberries
- 1–2 tablespoons water
- Chilled Prosecco
Directions
- Blend peaches, raspberries, and water until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve to create a silky puree.
- Pour 2 ounces of puree into a chilled flute glass. Add a splash of Prosecco and stir gently, then top with additional Prosecco. Serve immediately.
Tips for Perfect Bubbles
- Keep the puree, Prosecco, and glasses well chilled.
- Open the Prosecco 10–15 minutes before serving to reduce excessive foaming.
- For a crowd, gently combine puree and Prosecco in a carafe and pour into glasses in small batches.
