When it comes to standing up for local businesses, the Beaverton Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) is always on the job. Whether it’s helping a small shop get discovered or making sure lawmakers hear the voices of business owners, the Chamber plays a key role in keeping Beaverton’s economy strong and connected while contributing to our community!

The BACC is a member driven organization. What does that mean? Businesses purchase membership that allows them to receive specific benefits and services from the chamber. Most business owners do not realize that simply by joining the BACC you are listed on their website. When your business is listed on a chamber website, google automatically increases your SEO, because google rates chambers as verified websites!! Consumers are also more likely to do business with and support businesses that are members of their local chamber. Why? Because your membership shows your customers that you care about your local community!
Speaking of community, what does the BACC do to support community? We are so glad you asked! We have just rounded up our six-concert series, Concerts in the Round; FREE concerts brought to the public on Sunday evenings! In the Spring we look forward to hosting a Civics Bee – much like a Spelling Bee but for Civics! This is followed by our Gala where we present community awards and raise funds for local scholarships. In 2026 we gave away $30,000 in scholarships to local youth!
The Chamber also hosts regular events to help local businesses grow and connect—things like networking meetups and educational classes designed to give business owners the tools they need to succeed. This is everything from a Coffee Connection on a Friday morning hosted at Fly Chai to a drop in lunch bunch at Ickabods to an After-Hours networking event at JMI Limo! We really do try to offer something for everyone!
