The Beaverton Police Department continues to serve, Find updates on our social media

COVID-19 has changed many things but it has not changed the Beaverton Police Department’s desire to serve. Like many police departments across the country, BPD has contingency plans for large events, like earthquakes, major storms and yes, pandemics. These include staffing plans should a percentage of the department fall ill or not be able to work.

The BPD has activated its first phase of staffing changes to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak and has provided all patrol officers with pandemic kits, equipped with gloves, masks, and eye protection.

While patrol officers and detectives are still working daily to meet the needs of the community, other BPD staff is working diligently with city, county and state officials to stay informed and flatten the curve. Our Public Information Officer will be posting up-to-date information to BPD’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Nextdoor accounts to keep community members informed.

As for now, we got this, so please stay home and stay healthy.
