These puppies need a home: Visit them at the Beaverton Farmers Market

Indigo Rescue generally focuses on animals in crisis—Those hard-to-place wonderful “square pegs” who just don’t fit into the average “round hole” home. Each year, we might have a handful of puppies—a predictable by-product of the neglected female dogs we take into our care and, usually, the easiest placements we have all year.

But this year is different! There is a puppy boom in America as a result of several economic and cultural factors, and we are feeling it in a big way! Currently, we have 12 puppies left from two giant litters, growing fast and more than ready to finally go home. Amazingly, their moms have, against all odds, found their forever homes, but due to sheer numbers, these guys are still waiting. One litter is almost certainly full German Shepherd Dog, and the other litter is a happy mixture of 50% bully-breeds and 50% just Plain Great Dog! They are all super social, great with kids and ready to become the new member your family has been missing.
