Summer Registration Save the Date: Summer Registration opens on Sat., April. 12 at 8 am for in-district residents and opens on Monday, April 14 for out-of-district residents.

Summer Hiring: We have some great opportunities available with on-the-job training available, no experience necessary. Apply now.

Step up to Be a Track & Field Coach: THPRD needs volunteer coaches to support local middle school track teams. Volunteer coaches provide an enjoyable learning environment for youth athletes, while promoting participants’ physical, social and personal development. Get more information or sign up online to volunteer.

Eid ul-Fitr Celebration: Sunday, Apr. 6, 2 – 6 pm at the Tualatin Hills Athletic Center. One of two major holidays celebrated by Muslims, Eid commemorates the end of the holy month of Ramadan. The celebration is co-produced by THPRD, Cool Islam, Islamic Community Center of Hillsboro, Islamic Society of Greater Portland, Bilal Masjid, and Afghan Support Network. With inflatables, laser tag, bazaar, food vendors, and more, this is a celebration not to be missed! All are welcome to come experience this celebration.

Marhaba Arab Celebration: Saturday, Apr. 19 11am – 3pm at Garden Home Rec Center. This event is to honor the Arab community and to celebrate National Arab American Heritage Month. Traditional music, vendors, food and more.

Dia de los Niños y Dia de los Libros (Children’s Day and Book Day): Tuesday, Apr. 29 5:30 – 7:30 pm at Garden Home Rec Center. We will be celebrating kids, fun craft activities and reading. This is a FREE event aimed at promoting literacy and cultural diversity among children.

Home School STEM Classes on Thursdays in April: Students at will build, experiment, and problem-solve while working on engaging activities. Perfect for curious minds who love to learn through doing! Inquire at www.thprd.org or contact Garden Home Rec Center.

Spring Egg Hunt: Saturday, Apr. 19, 10 am – 11:15 pm. Join us at Cedar Hills Rec Center for a hopping great time gathering candy-filled eggs and activities for the whole family! We also have an All-Abilities Egg Hunt for kids with sensory, sensitivities, and/or mobility needs. Reg. required.

NEW Elementary Track Club: Saturday, Apr. 5 – May 17, 10 am – 11:30 am. Open for grades 3 – 5, and kids will learn about running, throwing, and jumping, and it will end with a track meet at a local High School. Registration required. T-shirt fee: $8 Cedar Hills Rec Center

Outdoor Court Reservations: Starting Apr. 1, two of the six PCC Rock Creek Tennis Courts will be available for the public to reserve: M-Th from 5 – 9:30 pm, Sun from 10am – 1pm. Additional locations will be added in May.

Adult Softball Leagues Begin: The HMT softball fields will play host to the THPRD Adult Men’s, Open and Industrial softball leagues in April.

Spring Volleyball League: The Spring Adult Volleyball League will begin. They will play Sunday through Thursday evenings at the Tualatin Hills Athletic Center.

Summer Preview: Friday, Apr 4, 6 – 8 pm. Get ready for an unforgettable summer at Conestoga Rec & Aquatic Center! Join us for light refreshments, connect with our team, and get a sneak peek of what’s in store for the summer! Whether your child is a budding artist, an aspiring athlete, or an outdoor enthusiast, we have the perfect camp for them.

Personal Training Open House: Friday, Apr. 4, 6 – 8 pm. Chat with trainers and learn about training options in the water, outdoors, on the yoga mat, and more! Enter for a chance to win a free personal training session! Conestoga Rec & Aquatic Center

Volunteer Appreciation Week: Sunday, Apr. 13 – Saturday, Apr. 19. Join us in celebrating our volunteers all week at Conestoga Rec & Aquatic Center! It leads up to a volunteer appreciation event Apr. 19 from 12 – 1 pm. For volunteers, there will be light refreshments, cookies, and awards! Families welcome. There will be Two raffle Swag Bags, Prize wheel and free Open Swim for volunteers.
