THPRD Bond Task Force Votes to Replace 2008 Bond Measure: The THPRD Board will vote at their January meeting whether to forward the bond measure to voters at the May 2026 primary election.

Celebrate MLK Day & Reflect on Our Civil Rights, Past & Present: Human Library event at Evelyn Schiffler Memorial Park on Monday, Jan. 19, from 9 am – 12:30 pm.

Tualatin Hills Athletic Center Updates:

Youth Basketball League: 5th – 8th grade and high school basketball leagues will begin games in January.
Adult Basketball League: Begins in January with 4 different skill divisions.

Cedar Hills Rec Center Updates:

Painting, All Levels: Fridays, Jan. 9 – Feb. 15, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm.
NEW Adult Pickleball Classes: Sundays at 11:30 am – 12:30 pm & Wednesdays at 9:45 – 10:45 am. Starting in January, we have launched a new pickleball program for adults.

Conestoga Rec & Aquatic Center Updates:

Butterfly project: Conestoga is proud to take part of the Butterfly project, which is a way to honor and remember the 1.5 million children who were victims of the Holocaust.
Open Swim: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Pool space and times vary.
NEW – Yoga Tykes and Yoga Rookies: Join us for new yoga movement classes geared especially towards toddlers and preschoolers.
NEW – Ultimate Frisbee Starters: An exciting fast-paced team sport that combines elements of soccer and football using a flying disc. Sundays, 3:30 – 4:15 pm.
Dive-in Movies: Fri., Jan 9 and 23, 6 – 8:30 pm. Stop by, relax, and enjoy a movie by the pool.
Sunday Night Swim and Pizza Party: Sunday, Jan. 18, 4:45 – 7:45 pm. Board Game Night: Get ready for a brain-boosting, dice-rolling good time! For children ages 5 –12 years old.

Garden Home Rec Center Updates:

TR (Therapeutic Recreation) Bingo Party Night: Jan. 26, 6:30 – 8:30 pm Ages 13-20 yrs: a game-filled evening of socializing, bingo, prizes and friends!
NEW- Creative Cubs Workshop: Jan. 28, 9 am – 12 pm, ages 3.5 – 5.5 yrs: Hands-on activities and joyful play designed just for preschoolers:
DIY Beauty Lab workshop: Jan. 13, 3:45 – 5:15pm & 5:45 – 7:15 pm, ages 7-10 & 11-14 yrs: This fun, hands-on workshop students will learn how to make their own beauty and spa items like lip balm, soap, and candles.
NEW- Family STEAM Lab: Jan. 24, 10:30 am – 12pm ages 5 – 99 yrs: a hands-on family STEAM adventure!
NEW- Out & About: Field Trip Fun! Sat Jan. 24, 9 am – 12:30 pm ages 8-11 yrs: Let’s go on an adventure! In this drop-off program, participants will ride with our awesome staff to a local fun spot to play, explore, and make new friends.

Tualatin Hills Nature Center Updates:

2026-2027 Preschool Registration: Join us for our Virtual Preschool Open House on Wed., Jan. 28 from 5:30 – 6:15 pm.
Spring Native Plant Sale: Mark your calendars, online ordering begins on March 1. Plants will be available for pick-up at the Tualatin Hills Nature Park on May 1 or 2.
Raíces FREE monthly program for Spanish speaking families: Friday, Jan 31 from 4 – 7pm and Saturday, Feb 21 from 1 – 4 pm. We will have activities for the whole family!
