Outdoor pools opening soon. Raleigh and Somerset West Swim Centers open Mon. June 16.
Eid al-Adha Jun 15. 4 – 8 pm at Cedar Hills Park: You’re invited to a joyful, family-friendly Eid Celebration and Bazaar—everyone is welcome! Featuring a rock-climbing wall, inflatables, laser tag, a vibrant bazaar, delicious food vendors, and more.
Water Update: Staff have turned on the outdoor drinking fountains, the water at community gardens, and the irrigation in our park sites and on BSD programmed fields are currently being turned on, sprinkler heads adjusted and repaired if needed.
Garden Home Rec Center: Pride Party: Friday June 13. 6 – 8:30 pm – Join us for an evening of fun and community. Bounce house, vendors, crafts, Music and more. Cooking Classes: In June, join us to learn how to cook dairy free meals and Middle Eastern Appetizers and Salads, just in time for the summer entertaining season. Cedar Hills Rec Center Hot Dog Wednesday – June 25. 5 – 7 pm. We will kick-off the summer with hot dogs and a variety of exciting attractions like an obstacle course and a water slide that kids will love. We will be selling hot dogs, with tasty meatless options available too!
Family Pride in the Park: June 28. 11 am – 2 pm Cedar Hills Rec Center. Prepare to celebrate diversity and inclusivity with family and friends! There will be fun and interactive activities for all ages, including inflatables, crafts, and exciting games for everyone to enjoy.
Natsu Matsuri: June 21. 3 – 9 pm at Conestoga Rec & Aquatic Center. Take part in an exciting evening celebrating Japanese culture and the summer solstice. There will be plenty of booths to peruse through in our open-air market, food to eat, and activities for all ages!
Summer Pool Theme Night: Bluey and Friends: June 27. 6 – 8:30 pm. Wackadoo! This pool party is gonna be awesome! Enjoy organized pool games, music, and more. Food for purchase may be available from vendors.
Greenway Park: Improving access to a portion of the Fanno Creek Trail. A new at-grade crossing will be installed at Scholls Ferry Road with a signalized light this summer. This will give trail users a second year-round option during high water events.
Outdoor Tennis Reservations: Starting June 1, we will offer dedicated tennis reservation times at Camille Park via Court Reserve. Learn more by visiting our website.
Bird Songs of Opera. Join the Tualatin Hills Nature Center and Renegade Opera for a community performance of Bird Songs of Opera on Tuesday, June 24. 6:30 – 8 pm at Camp Rivendale, Jenkins Estate. Registration required.
LGBTQIA+ Forest Bathing: Sat. June 28. 10 am – 12 pm, explore gentle and meditative practices, all while “bathing” in the sights, sounds, scents and textures of the beautiful Tualatin Hills Nature Park.
Nature Board Game Nights: Fri. June 27. 6 – 9 pm. Tualatin Hills Nature Center. Compete with fellow nature enthusiasts to build habitats, collect resources and explore a variety of captivating board games inspired by the great outdoors. Drinks included!
